Rents are the primary income source for maintaining quality housing services.
Every year the Council considers the annual changes to Council house rents and associated charges.
The Council must set rents in accordance with the Government policy on rents for social housing.
Executive are asked to recommend to Council that it determines an increase in Council housing rents for the financial year 2025/26, in line with Government policy, from 1 April 2025.
