Housing Strategy 2024-2029 and Homelessness & Rough Sleeper Strategy 2024-2029

The Housing Strategy sets out the Council’s commitment to addressing Housing Needs within Ipswich.

 

The Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2024-2029 addresses Ipswich Borough Council’s commitment and legal duties under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 to review and address Homelessness and Rough Sleeping in Ipswich. This is legally required to be undertaken every 5 years and is therefore due to be complete by the end of 2024.

A stakeholder consultation event was held on 16 February 2024 to consider the priorities for the Homelessness & Rough Sleeper Strategy.
An 8-week public consultation is scheduled to begin from the end of July 2024 for both strategies.
