The Council owns and operates a number of public car parks in Ipswich, including Portman Road B Car Park, Ipswich, IP1 2BP.

Due to Remembrance Day taking place, we have received internal request from Events to suspend 12 Parking spaces on Thursday 10th November 2022 from 10:00-12:00 to allow for the walk-through days prior to the main event.

Signage will be placed to inform users of the car park of the suspensions in advance of when the parking spaces will be suspended. This will help to minimise any inconvenience to the public.

The main alternative would be to not suspend the 12 parking spaces in car park, but it will be extremely difficult for the walk-through activities to be carried out and it will facilitate smooth traffic flow in that area.
