Issue details

Ipswich Borough Council are proposing to carry out Shell and Core works in relation to the refurbishment of the old Burtons Warehouse on the St Peters Dock Waterfront site. Once the building is refurbished it will be let to a 3rd party.

The services of a multi-disciplinary consultant are required to provide structural engineering, mechanical & electrical, quantity surveying, contract administration and principle designer duties by an external consultancy in order to progress with the required design for the shell and core works.

In order to progress with this fast track project, a direct award via the NHS Shared Business Services framework has been agreed.

Following direct negotiations with Officers Ingleton Wood LLP have been chosen for a capped fee of £75,000.00 (excl. VAT) which is considered good value and will be funded from existing allocated capital budgets.
