To consider the Minutes of the meeting held on 22 July 2024.

The Committee is asked to note the performance of the Colchester and Ipswich Museum Service for the period April to October 2024.

The Committee is asked to note the verbal update from the Head of Museums.

This report provides a brief update on the current financial position, as of December 2024 for Colchester & Ipswich Joint Museum Service for 2024/25 and the current indicative position in relation to setting the 2025/26 budget for Colchester & Ipswich Joint Museum Service.

The Committee is asked to recommend the proposed financial contributions from Colchester City Council and Ipswich Borough Council, to be agreed through each Council’s budget setting process.

The Committee is asked to approve the updated Business Plan, to review and approve the Risk Register contained at Section 9 of the Business Plan, and to advise on the extension or renewal of the Business Plan ahead of its conclusion.
