Purpose:

The new play area at Landseer Park opened on Thursday 14th April 2022 to enable play during the Easter Break, to enable the opening the blue wet pour surfacing was paused to be revisited and installed later.

 

Ahead of the school summer holidays the additional wet pour works have been scheduled to complete the project and enhance the play experience. Should the surfacing works be completed sooner the play area will reopen before 22nd July 2022.

 

There will be notices placed on the play area fencing advising uses of the temporary closure.

Decision:

To close the play area known as Landseer Park Play Area from Monday 18th July for a period no longer than one week.

 

Reason:

To enable these works to take place and in accordance with Health &Safety guidance.
