We need to purchase a new Web Application Firewall (WAF) to enhance the current protection of IBC’s internet accessible web servers. A WAF will enable us to isolate connections and manage traffic effectively which are vital for the need for continued increase and resilience of our Cyber Security defences.

Testing has indicated that integration with our current infrastructure and product set gives the most favourable outcome and one which would require less resources for us to learn the product therefore ensure a rapid deployment.

Our preferred option is to purchase a Web Application Firewall from the same manufacturer as our existing load balancer. We have received an indicative quote for 36 months of support at £13,860.00.
