Purpose:

Ipswich Borough Council requires to let a contract to maintain and install its Christmas lights display. The Contract is for 36 months with the option to extend for a further 12 months based on contractor’s suitable performance.

 

Tenders were invited via the Council’s e tendering system and three bids were received from different suppliers, of which Millenium Quest were the most economically advantageous at a value of £133,921.00 for the 36-month period.

 

The contract will be funded form existing allocated budgets and represents good value for money.

 

The contract value is £133,921.00 (excl. VAT).

Decision:

To approve the appointment of Millenium Quest.

 

Reason:

To enable Ipswich Borough Council to continue to maintain and install/dismantle it’s Christmas lighting display.
