Purpose:

The Council owns and operates several public car parks in Ipswich, including William Street Car Park, Ipswich.

 

The Council has received an external request to suspend 25 parking bays in the car park on Monday 19th September 2022. This request has been submitted by Password Services Air Conditioning Ltd to enable it to install an air conditioning unit at The Cricketers public house.

 

The potential lost income for the suspension of the bays will be funded by Password Services Air Conditioning Ltd.

Decision:

To utilise the powers within the Ipswich Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2020 to suspend 25 bays in William Street Car Park to enable the installation of an air conditioning unit at The Cricketers public house.
