The meeting of Executive on 8th March 2022 resolved to provide a £150 one-off Energy Bills Rebate for most households in council tax bands A-D. Payments have been made to Direct Debit payers in April 2022.

A separate process is required to make payment to non-Direct Debit payers so that proactive contact is made with those eligible, to verify details, confirm bank details and then make payment.

IBC is seeking a fully managed service to process approximately 18,614 payments to those whose bank details are currently unknown.

Three quotes have been received to undertake the required work. The most economic and value for money quotation was from Datatank at a cost of £18,336 to complete the IBC case work and a decision has been made to award the contract to Datatank.
