Ipswich Borough Council requires to replace the current house lighting in the Grand Hall of the Corn Exchange with LED alternatives.
An open tender process was carried out and one compliant bid was received from DSA Electrical. The value of the bid was £71,782 for supply and installation of the lighting. The project team considered the bid
to be good value for money.
This project will save an estimated £4,395 in electricity costs annually, reducing the energy consumption of the lighting by 88%.
The project will be funded partly through the Carbon Management Invest to Save budget and partly from the Repair and Maintenance Capital Contingency Budget.
