OD/21/19 sets out a decision made in 2021 to enter into a contract with Mobysoft for provision of their ‘RentSense’ rent arrears management software.

Since this decision was made Mobysoft have released an additional security feature – two step authentication – which would increase the security of tenants’ data. As such the contract awarded via OD/21/19 is to be amended to include this feature at an additional cost of £6,192.

The total value of the contract including this variation is below the key decision threshold and the additional functionality cannot be purchased from elsewhere.

To amend the contract with Mobysoft to include additional security features.

Reason:

To increase the security of tenants’ data.
