Ipswich Borough Council has a requirement for the supply of Metal wheeled bins against a delivery schedule and the provision for accelerated or deferred delivery of bins as required.

To direct award this contract via the ESPO Framework (860; Lot 2) for

a two-year period to Storm Environmental LTD at a budgeted cost of £110,000.

Reason:
To supply metal wheeled bins as required.

This arrangement will allow the Council to consider the potential impact of the government’s Waste and Resource Strategy (when published) on its metal bin requirements before then carrying out a review of its procurement options and procuring a new contract before the end of this two year arrangement.
