To award the contract, via the ESPO Framework (860; Lot 2), for the provision of wheeled bins to ESE World Ltd for a two year period at a cost of £145,000.

Reason:

Ipswich Borough Council has a requirement for the supply of wheeled bins against a delivery schedule and the provision for accelerated or deferred delivery of bins as required. This arrangement will

allow the Council to consider the potential impact of the government’s Waste and Resource Strategy (when published) on its wheeled bin requirements before then carrying out a review of its procurement options and procuring a new contract before the end of this two year arrangement.
