There was an opportunity to strategically manage the Council’s estate. The Council owns the freehold of the land and the property is designated as offices.

 

The suites were recently vacated by the former tenant and were available to produce rental income.

 

An agent was appointed to market the suites and the terms are in line with Market Rents achieved at the Centre.

Decision:

Decision made to enter into a lease at the above property with Seetec Plus Ltd. The Council owns the freehold of this Business Centre and has granted a lease for the purpose of offices in association with the tenants wellbeing and social enterprise business.

The Decision was taken for the following reasons:

•Opportunity to strategically manage the Council’s estate. The Council owns the freehold of the land. The property is designated as offices.

 

•The suites were recently vacated by the former tenant and were available to produce rental income.

 

•An agent was appointed to market the suites and the terms are in line with Market Rents achieved at the Centre.

 

There were no alternative sites to consider.
