The Council has so far introduced 4 phases of policy for the use of Additional Restrictions Grant funding.

This decision will introduce a 5^th phase for the remaining allocation of funding (which is anticipated be £835,608) that will need to be used by March 2022.

To authorise the Chief Executive to introduce new policies that deliver on the proposals within the attached report at paragraph 1.3 and to authorise the Chief Executive to administer and determine the grants payable in accordance with those policies.

Reason for decision: To enable the Council to effectively administer the new grant and ensure money is paid out in a timely manner.

Note: This decision is certified as being exempt from call in to enable the Phase 5 of the Additional Restrictions Grant to be implemented and grants to be issued without delay.
