Purpose:

Ipswich Borough Council requires a suitable contractor to test, inspect and carry out remedial works as required on commercial buildings for fire detection, emergency lighting and fire extinguisher stock. The contract duration is a maximum term of three years.

 

Following a competitive procurement process, nine quotes were returned and evaluated for the provision of these works.

 

The winning company who was the most economically advantageous and offered the highest quality score was DPL Group

.

The maximum contract value is £44,164.89 plus VAT.

Decision:

To approve the appointment of the DPL Group to carry these works.

 

Reason: To undertake fire related statutory checks and inspections.
