Purpose:

It is a statutory requirement that Ipswich Borough Council carry out Fire Risk Assessments on all corporate buildings annually.

 

Following an open tender process and subsequent evaluation, it was decided that the specialist contractor Assured Fire Safety Ltd with a winning quote of £36,600.00 would be chosen to undertake the surveys for a contract term of three years.

 

The quotation was considered good value for money and will be financed through existing budgetary allocations.

Decision:

To agree the appointment of Assured Fire Safety Ltd.

 

Reason: To undertake Fire Risk Assessments on Corporate Properties.
