Purpose:

A procurement process has been undertaken on the ESPO Portal to identify a preferred supplier for supply of play equipment and safety surfacing for Alexandra Park Play Area.

 

3 bids were submitted, a validation process was carried out and the preferred supplier Kompan Ltd. were shown to demonstrate the best value for money and quality.

 

The estimated value of this contract is £128,000 for purchase and supply of equipment and to install wet pour surfacing. The contract start date will be October 2020. The installation of equipment, associated groundworks including fencing will be carried out by IBC’s Landscape Team.

Decision:

To award a contract of an estimated value of £128,000 for purchase and supply of equipment and to install wet pour surfacing to Kompan Ltd.

 

Reason: 3 bids were submitted and Kompan Ltd. demonstrated best value for money and quality.
