Ipswich Borough Council and its venues, require ice cream for shows and events. Procurement and Commercial Development have undertaken a procurement exercise and to identify a supplier to support service needs and compliance with Contract Standing Orders.

A procurement process was undertaken on 4 December 2019 to identify a preferred supplier for delivery of these services.

On 3 January 2020 4 bids were submitted, a validation process was carried out and the preferred supplier Criterion Ices were shown to demonstrate the best value for money and quality.

The contract start date for this provision will be February 2020 the estimated value of this contract is £80,000 over the length of the 4 year contract, this contract is for a term for 3 years with an option to extend for 1 year.
