Purpose:

Ipswich Borough Council is proposing to develop five small sites across the south of Ipswich. To complete the required development, the council needs to appoint an architect to provide suitable planning application & tender design drawings.

 

A schedule of works has been agreed with our internal client and this has been competitively tendered to five local architects. The best value bid was received from Rees Pryer at £19,440.00.

 

This is to be funded from the existing allocated capital budget.

Decision:

To award the architect contract to Rees Pryer.

 

Reason: To progress the design proposals for the proposed development and allow a submission for planning approval, plus tendering of the project on five small sites across south Ipswich.
