The Council has a requirement for metal wheeled bins to contain recycling and waste materials at both residential and commercial properties.
In consultation with the Council’s procurement team and following market research and engagement the ESPO framework 860_22 for Refuse and Recycling Products (including wheeled bins) was deemed the most economically advantageous procurement route.
The supplier identified through the ESPO framework that could meet the Council’s requirements was Storm Environmental Limited.
The contract value is £100,168.00 for a 12 month period. The contract value will be met from the capital budget approved within the Council’s Medium Term Financial Plan.
To award Storm Environmental Limited a 12 month contract for the supply of metal wheeled bins up to a maximum value of £100,168.00.
Reason:
To enable the Council to continue to supply residents and commercial customers with metal wheeled bins.
