Purpose:

IBC is required to undertake water hygiene maintenance to protect building occupants from waterborne contagions such as legionella. This includes regular water testing, temperature monitoring & cleaning of aspects such as water storage tanks, shower heads etc.

 

An open tender process was undertaken for which 6 bids were received. These were evaluated & moderated according to the Council’s normal procurement processes.

 

The most economically advantageous bid received was for £56,787.00 pa, with a maximum contract value of £113,574.00. (An initial contract term of 12 months with further extension available of 12 months only.), from H20 Nationwide Limited.

 

This contract will be funded from existing Cyclical Repairs & Maintenance budgets.

Decision:

To award the contract to H20 Nationwide Limited.

 

Reason:

To enable the planned maintenance contract to progress.
