Ipswich Borough Council is providing training for Night-time Economy Venues and associated industries through provision of Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement (WAVE) Training.

The provision forms part of a wider Community Safety plan to improve public safety and confidence which has received external funding support.

Tenders were invited via the Council’s etendering system with three bids received from different contractors, of which Six till Six were the highest scoring following evaluation.

The contract will be funded through Home Office Safer Streets 4 external funding and the winning tender represents good value for money.

To approve the appointment of Six till Six.
