The Council has a requirement for Vehicle driver and familiarisation training,

Large Goods Vehicle Class C training and Certificate of Professional Competence training.

A procurement exercise has been undertaken by officers from the Council’s Procurement team. There were three bids received following which an evaluation was carried out and the bid submitted by Pertemps Network Administration Ltd was found to demonstrate value for money and quality.

The decision made was to award a contract to Pertemps Network Administration Ltd. The value of this contract is £42,777 over a 36 month period which will be met from existing budget provision.

Reason:

To provide the required vehicle driver and familiarisation training, large goods vehicle class c training and certificate for professional competence training.
