Purpose:

A procurement process using Suffolk e-sourcing was completed for the services of an Electrical Contractor to undertake mandatory emergency lighting testing to all the Council’s HRA flat blocks and Sheltered Housing Schemes.

 

The need to undertake emergency lighting testing is a matter of compliance for the Council.

 

The successful contractor (Gracelands Complete Maintenance Services Ltd) bid was £130,380 and will be met from within existing budgets. The overall tender was evaluated on price and quality.

Decision:

To appoint Gracelands Complete Maintenance Services Ltd for the emergency lighting testing.

 

Reason:

To carry out mandatory emergency lighting testing to all the Council’s HRA flat blocks and Sheltered Housing Schemes.
