An open procurement process using Suffolk e-sourcing was completed for the adaptation of Council properties. The work allows existing tenants to remain in their home.
Tenders were procured in three lots and the most economically advantageous tenders were accepted in the sums of £26,280, £17,883 and £14,670.
The possibility of using the internal workforce was considered but this was rejected due to capacity reasons. The successful tenderers were able to demonstrate they could complete the projects to the desired quality standards in the timescales required.
