Why is it being made listing reasons for the decision

A new lone worker system is required to help ensure lone worker safety in higher risk areas. Skyguard was chosen and agreed to be procured by CMT.

 

A three year contract for 81 devices was procured. A one off cost of £810 for the devices and then paid annually, totalling £29,160 + VAT.

 

Alternative options consider and why rejected

Skyguard was the preferred device in employee trials and offers more advantages over other providers at lower costs.

No changes – Health & Safety risk to employees carrying out lone working.
