IBC’s contract for planned maintenance was mutually brought to an end in September 2019. As part of this agreement, and whilst it was still operative, communal entrance doors were manufactured aimed at dealing with security and anti-social behaviour issues for Council blocks of flats in the Westgate area. Security and anti-social behaviour issues have continued and IBC was offered the opportunity to purchase the doors and installation direct from the subcontractor at a discounted rate of £46,454.34 compared to the original cost of £56,314.88.
