Ipswich Local Plan Review - Publication of Final Draft Local Plan for public consultation

The Preferred Options Version of the draft Local Plan was subject to public consultation from January to March 2019. The comments received have now been considered and a final publication draft Local Plan Review prepared setting out the Council’s planning policies and site allocations up to 2036.

The report will set out the changes proposed to the emerging Ipswich Local Plan in the light of that consultation and to reflect changes in national planning policy and Government guidance. It will provide a summary of the main issues raised by the responses to the Preferred Options consultation carried out under regulation 18 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.  It will also indicate how those issues have been taken into account.

If approved by Council, the Final Draft Local Plan will be published and representations on its soundness invited from the public between August and October 2019 (regulations 19 and 20).
