Response to Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) consultation

Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO) were created by the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. They are a tool for dealing with antisocial behaviour. Local Authorities can choose to adopt PSPOs if there is the evidence to demonstrate a need.

This report informs Executive of the outcome of the public consultation concerning the draft Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs) and requests Executive decide the next steps.  Executive is also requested to agree an amendment to the Public Protection Enforcement Policy.
