Ipswich Borough Council require the services of a Gallery design specialist for the Ipswich Museum HLF project to produce indicative layouts of the proposed galleries and how they will be developed.
A decision has been made to re-appoint the gallery design specialists engaged for the previous bid to produce revised proposals based on the re-scoped project. This appointment has been made on the grounds of costs, expediency and continuity.
The requirement for competition within Contract Standing Orders has been waived following consultation with the Head of Finance and Revenues and the Head of Culture and Environment on the basis that this is economically in the best interests of the Council.
The contract value is for the sum of £15,000 plus VAT.
