OD/17/92 Appointment of an Architect

Ipswich Borough Council require a project architect for the Ipswich Museum HLF project to produce a ‘bid ready’ set of architectural proposals for the physical works to be carried out on the Museum building.

 

A decision has been made to re-appoint the architects engaged for the previous bid to produce revised proposals based on the re-scoped project. This appointment has been made on the grounds of costs, expediency and continuity.

 

The requirement for competition within Contract Standing Orders has been waived following consultation with the Head of Finance and Revenues and the Head of Culture and Environment on the basis that this is economically in the best interests of the Council.

 

The contract value is for the sum of £35,000 plus VAT.
