As part of the Cornhill redevelopment project, Ipswich Borough Council (IBC) required a communications and marketing agency experienced in retail marketing to support us during the period of works to help attract and retain footfall, support growth in retail and leisure spend, and ensure a positive message is promoted that Ipswich is Open.
The work includes design of hoarding which is to be erected around the construction site and a PR campaign to attract new shoppers and visitors to Ipswich as part of an integrated marketing campaign.
This appointment has been out to tender for which there were 4 tender returns. The highest scoring tender was from Pier Marketing who will be able to provide an all-inclusive approach for marketing, PR and design work for £60,000 plus VAT.
Pier will subcontract the manufacture and installation of the hoarding panels to Hudson Signs at a value of £15,000 plus VAT.
