Housing Bay Roofs and Cladding Insulation Upgrading Contract to Leaseholder and Associated Properties

Executive is asked to approve improvements to 197 council and leaseholder properties which have bay windows. These bays have cladding below and between windows and a flat roof above and which are poorly insulated which can create cold bridges. Subsequently these properties are prone to heat loss through the bay walls and roof construction and can result in other problems such as condensation and mould.

 

The build-up of 197 addresses contains; 108 leaseholders and 89 council owned properties which comprises of 313 bays.
