Compulsory Purchase of 88 Sidegate Lane

88 Sidegate Lane is an empty property, which may have been empty for as long as approximately 6 years. Informal approaches to encourage this ideal family home to be returned to use have been unsuccessful.

Ipswich Borough Council has powers under the Housing Act 1985 to compulsorily purchase the property to facilitate the property being returned to use. The report will request that Executive resolve to make a compulsory purchase order.
