An open procurement process using Suffolk e-sourcing was completed for the services of a contractor to renew the heating system at Newnham Court (a 22 unit Homeless Families Unit) with heat retention storage heaters.

 

Alternative Options considered and why rejected

Eight compliant bids were received and evaluated on the basis of 60% price and 40% quality. The successful contractors bid was £75,792.36

 

The successful contractor provided the most advantageous tender and was able to demonstrate they had the technical expertise to execute the contract.
