Norfolk Vending and Catering Supplies (NVCS) have been running the vending contract in sport for 5 years. It was extended by 4 months from 1 April 2016 until 31 July 2016, due to sport wishing to include a catering option for one-off events. This required a second specification to be drawn up, resulting in a 4-month extension so that both specifications could be tendered at the same time.
Following a staff restructure resulting in a new post of Venues and Retail Manager, it was decided to extend the current vending contract to provide sufficient time for the new manager to review the corporate catering and vending arrangement and then go out to tender corporately rather than just for sport.
