Mallard Way requires the existing site entrance widened, to provide a safer pedestrian entrance and allow separation of vehicular and pedestrian accessing into the Garages.
The adjacent private housing owners have agreed to the reinstatement of the physical rear paving demarcation for the land shown on the land registry as being within IBC ownership, to allow the footpath reinstatement to be achieved.
A schedule of works has been agreed with our internal client. This has been competitively tendered to three local contractors and the best value bid was received from Gipping Construction at £11,894.74.
This is to be funded from the existing allocated capital budget.
To award the works contract to Gipping Construction.
Reason: To enable road widening works to progress on site.
