Ipswich Borough Council requires 2 x vans to replace current vehicles. Previous decisions have been made and published – OD/18/67 and OD/18/68 regarding the procurement of replacement vans.
1. Due to unacceptable delays with vehicle manufacture and delivery of the vehicles previously ordered that are detailed in OD/18/67 and OD/18/68, the orders placed referred to in OD/18/67 and OD/18/68 have been cancelled.
2. The Crown Commercial Services Framework Agreement – RM6060 has been used to identify suitable vehicles. This framework allows a comparison of vehicle specifications, pricing and selection of the vehicle most appropriate. The best value vehicle was identified at a total cost of £10,672 per vehicle including the additional options specified.
The decision made was to purchase these vehicles from Renault with delivery expected within 8 weeks.
