Purpose:

Ipswich Borough Council is proposing to build a new multi-storey car park on the site of the New Portman Road surface car park.

 

Additional site investigations are now needed to be provided in order to progress the development of the pile foundation design.

 

Following receipt of quotations, an appointment is to be made to EPS Ltd to the sum of £13,900.00 (excl. VAT) from existing allocated capital budgets.

Decision:

To appoint EPS Ltd.

 

Reason: To obtain ground investigation information to allow a piling design to be progressed.
