As required by Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Act 1999, an open procurement process was completed for the services of a contractor to provide independent Health and Safety advice to all service areas across the Council. Three tenders were returned and evaluated.


Following a competitive open tendering process with the Council receiving three bids, CCAS Ltd has been appointed at an indicative cost of £30,975.00 over a three year period. The contract period is one year with an option for a further one year extension twice, making a total of three years, subject to satisfactory performance.


Reason: CCAS Ltd submitted the most economically advantageous tender to the Council. To support and provide consultancy works throughout the Council.
