Ipswich Borough Council requires 11 x passenger cars to replace current vehicles that have reached the end of their useful life. The Council has resolved to procure electrically powered vehicles where possible to reduce the impact on the local environment from the operation of its fleet.
The Crown Commercial Services Framework Agreement – RM6060 has been used to identify suitable vehicles. This framework allows a comparison of vehicle specifications, pricing and selection of the vehicle most appropriate. The best value electric vehicle was identified at a cost of £19,734.20 including VAT per vehicle. Total Cost of £217,076.20 including VAT
The decision made was to purchase these vehicles from Renault.
