The Council requires the demolition of a dilapidated town centre former Public House and has therefore tendered the works on the Councils electronic procurement system.


Bids were received from a total of nine demolition contractors, following a tender review by an external Quantity Surveyor and the Council’s procurement team the most economically advantageous tender was offered by Clarke Demolition Co. Ltd. (CDC).


CDC offered the most economically advantageous tender for a total fee of £39,369.00


To award the Contract to CDC.


Reason: To enable works to proceed within given timescales.
