Decision Maker: Officer Decision

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: No

Purpose:

Why is it being made listing reasons for the decision

A ramp to provide access to flats in Sheldrake Drive currently only accessible by concrete steps, has been designed and tendered with the view to complete works to allow better access for disabled persons and elderly persons and allow easier access for all for moving wheelie bins etc. The tenders have been received and evaluated and the most economically advantageous tender of £24,270 accepted. This will be funded from the HRA Planned Maintenance Programme.

Alternative options considered and why rejected

It was considered whether the work could be completed by in-house resources but rejected because they were all fully committed on other works.
