An open procurement process using Suffolk e-sourcing was completed for the services of a professional practice to coordinate the procurement of the planned maintenance and kitchen and bathroom programme for 2017 onwards. These are major long term HRA capital projects. Eleven tenders were returned and evaluated.
An order was placed to accept the tender with the highest score after evaluation based on the selection criteria of 70% price and 30% technical ability in the sum of £24,014.
Alternative options considered and why rejected:
The successful supplier provided the most advantageous tender and was able to demonstrate they had the technical experience to provide the necessary procurement and technical advice within the agreed timescales.
