The Maintenance and Contracts service area carried out an open procurement process using Suffolk e-sourcing for the refurbishment and adaptation of a Council property. The work is to allow Council tenants to remain in their home.

 

An order was placed to accept the most economically advantageous tender of £29,843 for the completion of the project commencing May 2015.

Alternative options considered and why rejected

Consideration was given to use the in-house trade workforce but this was rejected due to capacity reasons following on-going high demand for this service.
