Hawke Road Park is part of the Hawke Road housing redevelopment site, which includes a new play area and has been approved via the Council’s Planning Process with consultation with residents.

To enable the housing development works the park must be closed and the existing play area removed, then as the housing works are nearing completion the new play area will be installed. Hawke Road Park will be temporarily closed to enable the creation of a construction site and for housing

building works to take place, ensure the health and safety for all users. The site is expected to be closed until summer 2026.

To temporarily close Hawke Road Park until summer 2026.
