Purpose:

Parks and Cemeteries Service required a replacement line marking system to undertake line marking on sport pitches, both for internal and external customers.

 

A soft marketing exercise was undertaken with both manual line marking systems and a computerised one, with physical tasks undertaken.

 

Given the benefits of a computerised line marker that include repeat automatic line marking and the time savings this will deliver the decision was made to award a three-year contract to Turf Tank UK for the total

value of £20,100.

 

The breakdown three annual payments of £6,300 = £20,100. The value of the initial set up is £1,200. The value of the three year package is £6,300 per year = £18,900.00. The total value of the contract to Turf Tank UK £20,100.00

Decision:

To award the contract to Turf Tank UK.

 

Reason:

To  provide the computerised line marking system.
