Why is decision being made:
Maintenance and Contracts required a contractor to carry out internal and external building & structural works to convert a council property to meet the selected tenant’s occupational health requirements and adaptations to allow home living.
A competitive tender process was held and the most economically advantageous tender was accepted in the sum of £12,808.69p.
The possibility of using Ipswich Borough Councils in-house labour team was rejected as they do not currently have the capacity to carry out the work.
